As we are completing the first century of the Turkish Republic, the aim of this Memorial Object Design Competition is to interpret our republican values from the past to the future with a contemporary perspective and bring them to life as a symbolic commemorative object.
The memorial object to be designed should be able to stand on flat surfaces such as a desk or shelf, and its form should not exceed 12 cm x 12 cm x 20 cm in dimensions, whether in a horizontal, vertical, or inclined position. The object is not expected to have a functional use.
The competition is open to individual or team participation of undergraduate students studying in architectural, design, and fine arts faculties in the Republic of Turkey. Please read the competition guidelines for more details
AWARDS
The cash prizes for the winning designs will be awarded to the respective parties within two months after the announcement of the results. In the case of a team submission, the cash prize will be divided equally among the participating team members.
- First Prize: 12.000 TL
- Second Prize: 7.000 TL
- Third Prize: 3000 TL
